OUR STORY
I've spent over 10 years in administration, and in that time I've worn a lot of hats.
I started out as an agency worker in logistics and worked my way up to Administration Manager overseeing a team, supporting 4 blue-chip clients, and keeping on top of everything from invoicing and staff rotas to customer complaints and KPI reviews. No two days looked the same, and I loved that.
From there I moved into e-commerce as an Inventory Team Leader for a well-known clothing retailer, managing stock, investigating discrepancies, and leading large teams through the organised chaos of a fast-moving industry.
Then I became a mum, and the world shifted. Warehouse shift patterns and family life don't always mix, so after COVID I took a new direction into the motor industry. Those nearly five years turned out to be some of the most rewarding of my career. I built an SOP portfolio from the ground up, co-led the business through ISO27001 accreditation, writing over 30 policies and implementing new processes to strengthen their information security - and created a full company intranet on WordPress to bring everything together in one place. I produced reports and presentations for directors, and somewhere in between all of that, I won Employee of the Month twice and Employee of the Year for 2024.
Built by a small business owner who understands exactly what you're going through
I started The Happy Admin Co because I know what it feels like to have a business you love and an admin pile you dread. To have big plans and no time to execute them because the inbox, the invoices, and the day-to-day keep swallowing your hours.
As a small business owner myself, I've lived the pressure of juggling all the plates - limited time, limited energy, and a million things competing for attention. I understand what it's like to feel like you're always catching up, never quite on top of things, and quietly wondering if this is just what running a business feels like.
It doesn't have to be. That's why I built this.
The Happy Admin Co exists to give businesses and creatives the kind of operational support that was previously only available to larger organisations. It is simple to manage, strategically built, and designed to grow with you. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Every business is different, and the support you receive should reflect that.

People over process
We love a good system. But we never forget that behind every brief, every inbox, every to-do list is a real person running a real business. We lead with that.

Growth with intention
We take on clients carefully and intentionally. We'd rather have a manageable number of clients we serve exceptionally well than stretch ourselves too thin and let standards slip.
